Meet Nick and Carly Crotinger, the power duo behind Buddy Boarding. Together since junior high, they tied the knot in 2018 and are proud parents to two daughters and a pair of German Shepherds. Carly's a University of Cincinnati alum, and Nick's a business whiz, both certified in Dog Training and Obedience, making them the ultimate pet-care power couple.
Their journey began with at-home dog walking and pet-sitting, but dreams of a doggie utopia led them to create Buddy Boarding Farm in 2015. Tired of overpriced, overcrowded kennels with limited outdoor space, they crafted a home-style haven where dogs are treated like family.

Temperament Test
Temperament test drop off:
Monday-Friday: 7A-10A
Saturday: 9A-11A
Temperament test pick up:
Monday-Friday: 4P-7P
Saturday: 3P-5P
Temperament tests are offered Monday-Saturday with a scheduled reservation (excluding major holidays).
All dogs must pass a temperament test before attending any services.
A temperament test is an evaluation to ensure all dogs are socialized with other dogs, are friendly towards human pack leaders, and are not flight risks (i.e. actively seeking to escape).
Temperament tests are similar to daycare services. That is, owners drop their dog(s) off in the AM time block; pick up in the PM time block. Dogs will participate in group play sessions throughout the entire day so that BB pack leaders can assess their behavior.
*Buddy Boarding reserves all rights to deny any dog for aggressive, destructive, and any unsafe behavior.

By day, it's all tail-wagging fun for our fur-kiddos in their exclusive outdoor paradise—chasing sunbeams, swapping secrets with pals, and having a ball!
When the moon rises and it's time for doggy dreams, our furry VIPs retreat to their snuggly, climate-controlled kennels, complete with fresh water and a mountain of love and care.
Each pup enjoys their own little nook for dining, followed by a chill-out session to let their tummies rest. Plus, they get two hydration breaks to keep those tails wagging and prevent any paw-some burnout!

Taxi's are provided during an open time block. That is, we will pick your dog up and drop them off between 11AM - 4PM. Not at a specific scheduled time.
Before we leave Buddy Boarding Farm to taxi your dog, we will send you a message to notify you that we are on our way.

Our furry pals get chauffeured in during our morning time slot and are whisked away during the PM slot. We roll out the daycare red carpet Monday through Saturday.
Heads up: we're on a paw-some break the week before and during any big holidays!
Our buddies are out and about playing all day long. The fur-babes are separated in to private temperature controlled kennels if their people pack a lunch (not required), followed by a 30 minutes post meal break to ensure tummies have settled. Fur-kiddo's get a one hour chill out break in the middle of the day so that the Buddy Crew can refuel for more fun in the sun!
